    Prospective Student

    Hello,

I am a new freshman in college in Arizona. I was just wondering if Seattle University accepts transfer students for the Spring semester or only for the Fall semester. Also, is it too early to transfer your freshman year? Thank you for your help and answers...Hope to hear from you soon!

    Thanks.

    Re: Prospective Student

    JLopez,

We have rolling admission into Seattle University, so we do accept application for all four quarters.  The only catch is, some majors (like nursing and diagnostic ultrasound) only admit students in the fall.  Also, we don't offer that many courses in the summer.

You can apply to transfer anytime to Seattle University.  If you have less than 45 transferable college-level credits from another institution, we will require your high school transcripts and SAT or ACT scores.

    Good luck!

    Re: Prospective Student

    Hi,

I have a quick question regarding Transfer Nursing degree at Seattle University. I am finishing up my Undergraduate degree in Biology and chemistry in May 2006. I am interested in going into Nursing field. I am not sure if I have to apply as a transfer student or as an accelereated nursing degree student.  For BSN program, it does say that it accepts second degree student, however I am not sure what category I fall into.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.

    Re: Prospective Student

    Hi Kate,

We treat second-degree (or post-bacc) students as transfer students at Seattle University, so make sure that you've taken all the prerequisites for the nursing program before you apply.
