Hi everyone,

I am going to be a sophmore next year and am looking for a roomie.

This year I live in Xavier 227 and absolutely love it! It's so close to all the classes, QFC and Super Copy, which professors love to give couse packs from.

Next year I wish to stay in Xavier and, as a matter of fact, I would like to stay in the same room.

When I signed up my freshman year for the dorms I had Bellermine as my top choice and Xavier as my last.  I was a little apprehensive about it at first, but started to love it almost immediately.

Most of the people who live here this year on the 2nd floor wish to stay here next year too and they are a great bunch of people.  I have made many friends over this year and would like to room with some, next year, unfortunately for me, but fortunately for them they had better roommate experiences than I did and wish to stay with their current roommates next year.

There are only a few qualities that are musts in a roommate for me. I do NOT want a rommate who drinks and/or one who smokes.  My roommate MUST respect me and my privacy, but not totally issolate themselves from me.  I want to be friends with my roommate just like my other friends that live here this year.

Hi.  I saw your notice looking for a roommate and think we may get along well.  I am also in Xavier on the 3rd floor, 308, and love it.  I would like to stay here.  I will also be a sophomore next year and have not had much luck in finding a roommate for next year.  The people I've asked have plans for next year.  I also did not get lucky with my first roommmate.  We didn't get along so much that she moved out.  The thing I liked best about your notice is the requirement that your roommate Not drink or smoke.  I fit that description and don't ever intend to do either one.  I also would like to be friends with my roommate, which was part of your description.  I will respect your privacy.  So, if you are still looking for a roommate, maybe we could meet and see if we think we will be compatible.  Thanks.

Like mentioned earlier in persion, you've got the position. Lol. That sounds funny. Oh well. When I was writing the original post for the forum I got about half way through and realzed I felt and sonded like I was placing an add on some dating site. Lol

Anyways I am looking forward to rooming with you next year.  I know we will get along. It sound like we have hared similar experiences with roomates this year as well as the search for next year. I am excited about the fact that we actually get to choose the rooms we want to live in next year as well as the dorm and since we picked Xavier the chances of us getting the dorm m and room we want is looking pretty good considering no one ever seems to want to live in Xavier except for some those who lived there this year.

I can't wait to sign up for rooms for next year too bad we can't do it now, but rather have to wait until mid-Ma, but I suppose it will come soon enough.
