Hi. I took an honors and ap class junior year, and I've been wanting to ask this question for a while:

Is it better to take a honors and ap class and not receive an A, or take a regular course class and receive an A?

Hi Jackie,

Good question.  It depends on what kind of grades you are getting - we certainly want students to challenge themselves with rigorous coursework, and we factor in the difficulty of courses when we review your transcript.  So, yes, we will look favorably upon you if you are taking honors and AP classes.  However, we'd much rather see you be succesful in normal classes, than getting all C's in AP and honors classes.  So, it depends on how successful you think you can be.
