    Furthering my Education

An Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences major without an academically marketable leg to stand on, my greatest skill to the workforce is writing... and that's it.

My goal is to try to gain further a clearer picture of what I can do for a company I apply to, and my knacks and temperament (and a good career aptitude test) point towards accounting.

I spoke with an admissions advisor in person once before, but I feel strongly that it would be a good path to either get a second major or minor that would help me work towards a job. What would be the most effective method of shooting for being admitted into a program at the Seattle U for fulfilling this notion?

    Hi Qfpot -

Have you already received a degree from a university?  If that's the case, you have a couple of options.
You can come back as a post-bacc student, and get a degree in accounting.

Alternatively, you can apply for our MBA program and emphasize accounting, if that's what motivates you.

I can't be terribly more specific, since you don't mention your major or other interests.  But I will encourage you to say that there are many great entry-level jobs out there.  I'm sure you have many more skills that just 'writing' - perhaps being organized, a logical thought-process, or interpersonal skills.    Good luck!
