    trading used book

I’m a new transfer student. I would like to ask if someone can tell me how and where I can buy used books directly from students but not from  bookstore or online?

    Thank you

As far as I know, there's not really a set system for this--though it'd be nice if there were! Anyway, buying online might turn out to be the fastest and most efficient way to save cash in the used book department, since it's hard to track down people who have the exact books you need.

There's something on Facebook.com called the Marketplace, where people try to sell their books and other stuff, so you could try that.

    Re: trading used book

currently there is no venue for doing this, two years ago i attempted to start one. since it didn't recieve enough attention it didn't work. a previous graduate had previously put one together in an external forum-type book trading website.

unfortunately there currently isn't an option for this. BUT, it is possible to post a request for a certain book on the SU communities where someone who has the book you need, might see it and sell it to you.

if you keep asking for it it might actually be facilitated by the university. For now, the next best thing is purchasing online, my preference is www.campusi.com.

    good luck.
