SU Communities

Hi, my name is Saskia Washington and I am looking to move into a Murphy Quad next year.   I am a transfer Freshman currently (junior status, I did running start ) and am a nursing major. I am looking to move into a quad with some generall organized people who aren't slobs and will clean up after themselves. I also have a friend who is in a quad currently, but is looking to also move into one with me. Let me know if anyone is looking for one or two rommates for a quad.

I don't smoke and enjoy fresh air, hot or cold, rain or shine. I am also on the SU swim team and ROTC and work at A&F, so I keep busy and probably won't be around much. I take a lot of showers at Conolly, so you don't have to worry about be hogging the bathroom or making much of a mess of it. I pretty much keep to myself, but, don't worry, I am no hobit and don't stayed holed up in my room. I like to go out a lot and have fun. I am always willing to contribute the the "betterment" of our apartment, especially cooking/kitchen supplies and the living area.

Some silly stuff:

Favorite color green. I love plants and will probably have lots of them. I think they one of the best things to decorate any room with. If you're looking for a workout buddy I'd be more than glad to go because having that little extra motivation can really push you. Music I like: Country, rock, some r&b and rap, not  into metal, I like adult alternative a lot, some jazzy stuff, christian, and techno/house. I like to take walks to the park. I also like to eat out a lot.

I don't know if you have already found roommates, but I'm looking for some!  I am a transfer from PA and am looking for some friends also! :)  Two downfalls though, one, I don't have anything but clothing to contribute to the apartment since I'm from so far away.  I'm willing to do what I can.  And two, I'd only be living there until December.  I'm doing a "study abroad" type thing at SU.  So with that said, if you are still interested in having me as a roomie, let me know!  I value respect and responsibility, but love to be crazy and have a good time.  I'd probably be your workout buddy- and I'm thrilled that you like country, 'cause so do I. :)  Let me know what you're thinking.  Thanks!

HI Saskia!

My name is Alex. I'm currently a freshman at SU but I also have junior status through credits.  I was also hoping to move into a quad next year!  Right now I am double majoring (criminal justice and psychology) and I'm in the University Honors.  So basically, my life is consumed by homework :) but I work hard to set aside time to enjoy myself.  I've been having a blast exploring Seattle.

I also don't smoke.  I clean up after myself and I also don't mind helping with cooking/kitchen supplies, etc.  I try to go to sleep around 11 or 12 and would ideally like it to be relatively quite around then.

Random info: I've just recently gotten really involved with Invisible Children and I just joined oxfam which I'm super excited about.  I'm originally from Reno, Nevada and froze to death the first couple of weeks I was here.  :)  My favorite kind of music is alternative but I pretty much enjoy dabbling in a little of everything.

I don't know if you're still looking or not, but if you are, I'd definitely be interested.

I'm currently a junior studying abroad in Ireland and will be returning to SU in the fall for my senior year. I'm a creative writing major. As far as being a roommate, I'm very clean and considerate, will listen to any kind of music at least once, love going out for walks, and (as an added bonus) I have a pretty extensive CD and DVD collection. I also love going to the gym and basketball. I try to go to as many Sonics and Storm games as I can.
