Hello, my name is Tagrina Halim and due to some technical difficulties, I have run through many problems while using the online Common and Supplemental applications. When I submitted my application for the first time, I ended up sending my Common application to University of Puget Sound rather than Seattle University. It was a big mistake that I will never forget. When I called in at the admissions office at Seattle U., I talked with a woman named Debra who informed me that I had not sent in my application. She told me to send it in as soon as possible so that I could be put in a rush-admission process. I did what she told me to do. I submitted my Common application that day on March 14. It was later found out that admissions had not received my Supplemental application as well so I proceeded to re-submit it on April 2.
On April 14, I contacted your admissions office again to find out when I would be notified of my admission status. I was told that I would be notified within 10 days. Now that I have been notified of my status, that being on the waiting list for admission to Seattle University, I have a question.
Would I still be on the waiting list for Seattle University if they had received my complete Common and Supplemental applications on January 30th?
January 30th of 2007, was the original date of which I had "sent" both of my applications needed for admission. I would like for someone to tell me whether or not I would have been accepted and not put on the waiting list had admissions received my applications on that particular date.
I have sent the postcard given by Seattle U. with my checking that I would like to be put on their waiting list for the Fall Quarter of 2007.
Please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you for your time.
