    Housing Assignment..

    Read this:

    ------------------------

    Dear Kelsey:

Welcome to Housing and Residence Life at Seattle UniversityYou have been assigned to Xavier Hall 307, spring quarter of 2007.

The residence halls open for winter quarter at 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 25 2007.  When you arrive on campus, simply go to your assigned residence hall.  There will be students and staff available to help you check-in and get settled.  This links to an information sheet about your room that lists some of the items you may wish to bring in March.  I encourage you to contact your roommate.

One of the highlights of going to college is living in the residence halls.  To help you prepare for your residence hall experience, we ask that you read thoroughly the Resident Handbook found on our website (www.seattleu.edu/student/housing). The Resident Handbook outlines the residence hall policies and procedures and provides other important information that we expect you to know before you arrive in the fall.

    ------------------------------

I'm utterly confused. I applied and was accepted for Fall 2007. The first paragraph says I'm being housed for SPRING. The next paragraph says that the halls open for WINTER. The final paragraph says "before you arrive in the fall." So I emailed the guy back and pointed this out...but I was curious, did this happen to anyone else?

    Re: Housing Assignment..

The best way to get your questions answered about room assignments are to contact Timothy Albert, 220-296-6305. He's the Assistant Director of Housing.

They were in the process of Spring Quarter housing changes when you recieved your letter and most likely got your application mixed in. With 1000 plus students, I'm sure that you can recognize this honest mistake.
