    RE: World of Warcraft? Stability

I checked with the HelpDesk and they did not seem to have anything recent relating to the connection issue. So my first suggestion would be to contact/report to them again the issues you are having.

In addition, you might want to check the following things:

       1. Check and see if your network card drivers are current and not out of date.
       2. Make sure that your network card is set to 10/100 full duplex. This can be seen in the network card properties.
       3. Close any background programs that may be taking up bandwidth. Look in the system tray and see if there are any processes that are running may not be needed while the game is running. Closing some of these down can often free up resources for the game.
       4. Does the problem persist when you lower the game settings, such as distance viewing detail?
       5. Are you currently using a customized user interface? Some user interfaces report information back to the UI designer in order track server use or damage meters. The use of such meters may hamper network interface bandwidth used by World of Warcraft.
       6. Are you using Zone Alarm or another third party firewall utility that may cause problems with the games port requirements?
7.Then as I said originally, if you have tried all of the above and are still experiencing problems then contact the HelpDesk they could continue to assist and troubleshoot your issue further over the phone or via email.
