White Day
I'm hunkering down and doing my big Pre-Valentine's Day File Review reading tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like my desk exploded and scattered folders onto it, and then the folders had babies and created more stacks of folders.
Of course, it's all of you getting your applications in, and I hope you've all done your foxtrot or waltz victory dance for sending those off(see previous posts). Now you can think about more pressing things, like finding that candy heart that perfectly expresses your feelings.
When I taught middle school in Japan, we did some classroom exercises and I helped my students make little Valentine cards for each other. That was definitely a fun activity.
Interesting note: women in Japan give men chocolates on February 14th. Men reciprocate by giving (white) chocolate back on March 14th, called White Day.
