It’s been ages since I wrote a Blog, but reading a recent article, I decided to share some information about MBA programs.
I recently read an article in Biz Ed magazine (Jan/Feb 07 issue), called, “Investment Advice: Go for the MBA”. One of the striking findings the authors found in the survey by the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) is that an MBA degree yields an excellent return on investment (ROI) for nearly everyone. This is the case even if students did not attend a full-time, top-ranked school. What I found very interesting is that students enrolled in part-time programs have an annualized ROI of 68%, compared to 35% for executive programs, and 15% for full-time programs.
Since 80% of our students at Seattle University, are going to school part-time, we can see that the MBA provides great value for our graduates. I agree with the authors, Brooks C. Holtom and Edward J. Inderrieden, that students enrolled in evening program are seeing positive results from their investment in education.
